Here We Go - Announcing the 20th Shrewsbury Beer Festival

OK - Here we go! Shrewsbury Beer Festival is back, with a refurbished venue!
The 20th Beer Festival will be held in the Severn Warehouse (the refurbished upstairs part of the Severn Cellars nightclub) in Howard Street, Shrewsbury on the 17th and 18th of September 2010. In the photo above we see Nigel Bevan, Festival Coordinator, John McKenna, General Manager of the Severn Cellars and Warehouse, Keith Davies, Branch Chairman, and John Lewis, Ciders and Perries Coordinator, shaking hands over the deal which will bring the Festival back.
The Severn Cellars and Warehouse is the new name for the Buttermarket venue. Those who were at the 19th Festival two years ago will remember that the the Buttermarket had a great layout for the festival, but some parts of the building (particularly the toilets) were in need of some TLC. Well, John and his team are providing that care, starting with the revamped Cellars and working upwards to make sure that all the important bits are finished by the time of the Festival in September.
